End of School Celebrations

May has been a whirlwind! Christopher's last day of school was May 6. His school celebrated with a field day, where Christopher had a blast playing on inflatables, getting soaked by a firetruck's hose, and eating snowcones and popsicles.  The next day, our family celebrated by heading to Silver Dollar City y with Nana and Granddad, Aunt Laura, Uncle Garland and Caroline. We saw friends there, too, so it was a super fun trip! Poor Sarah Kate got pretty wiped out, but she did great. She finally got a nap in her stroller, but shortly after that, we grabbed her out to take her in to see the Chinese acrobats. It might have cost her a nap, but it was worth it for the rest of us! Besides the acrobats, we enjoyed all our favorite rides and tried out a new one--the Hi-Lo Silos. The boys loved them (probably because they weren't the ones hauling the chair to the top of the silo!).  Christopher also rode the Grand Exposition Roller Coaster for the first time--first with Daddy, then a few times with his buddy, Ruth.  Here's photos from Christopher's last day of school and our Silver Dollar City trip:

We are going to Silver Dollar City Wednesday. I haven't been in a long time (probably at least 10 years) and Hayden has never been. Hopefully it will be fun - it looks like it will.
